Earn up to 13,000 Alaska Miles when you fly internationally with Alaska global partner airlines this summer!

Alaska Airlines has an upcoming promotion called “Global partners bonus”. From June 1st until September 15th, when you fly with one of Alaska’s selected global partner airlines on the promotion page, on an eligible fare class and flight number range, you will get a 1,000 Mile bonus for each partner airline you fly with. Travel must include a non-US destination.

It does not appear there is a limit to number of times you can earn the 1,000 Miles. As there are 13 eligible global partner airlines included in this promotion, if you fly with all 13 listed partner airlines during the promotion period, you stand to earn 13,000 Alaska Miles. That is good enough for a standard one-way ticket for travel in the continental US, or to/from Canada.

Of course, don’t go out of your way to travel just to get the bonus miles as each 1,000 Miles is only worth $18 (yes Alaska Miles got devalued after they announced they are acquiring Virgin America). But if you do happen, or plan, to travel internationally on at least one of those airlines this summer, then you will definitely want to register for this promotion.
