US State Department Lowers China Travel Advisory
As the US slowly marches toward reopening fully, the State Department today lowers the travel advisory for People’s Republic of China (including Hong Kong) from level 4 ‘Do Not Travel’ to level 3 ‘Reconsider’.
Current Level 3 advisory:
Reconsider travel to the People’s Republic of China (PRC), including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), due to COVID-19 and arbitrary enforcement of local laws.

Bottom Line
This doesn’t actually mean to US citizens as they still cannot obtain entry visas to travel to China due to COVID-19. China relaxed border restrictions with about 3 dozen countries in August, but USA was not on the list.
